- A soft measuring tape (the kind used by tailors or seamstresses).
- A mirror (optional, to help check your positioning and alignment).
How to measure your chest size:
- Stand up straight and relax your shoulders. Make sure your arms are relaxed by your sides and you are standing naturally.
- Take the measuring tape and wrap it around the fullest part of your chest. This is typically just under your armpits and across the widest part of your chest.
- Ensure the tape is snug but not tight. It should be comfortably against your skin, but not so tight that it pinches or compresses your chest.
- Make sure the tape is level all the way around your chest and parallel to the floor. It should not sag or twist.
- Take a normal breath and ensure your chest is relaxed. Don’t suck in your stomach or hold your breath while measuring.
- Look at the number where the tape meets and record that as your chest measurement in Inches or centimetres.
